100 days have passed since our official market launch in March. What has happened at modility since then? Where do we stand? And where do we want to go? You can find the answers here.
Over 100 companies have registered with modility since the official go-live which means we offer more than 100 train connections via our platform – „100“ seems to be our lucky number. As of today, around 50 terminals in ten European countries are connected to the modility network. And the best thing is: there are still many more to come.
Not only does modility provide information about combined transport options but also enables direct booking via the portal. We are very proud that more and more customers use our platform and place bookings which helps us constantly improving our user experience.
We were overwhelmed by the great response to the announcement of our market launch. Since March, we have been mentioned in press articles by DVZ, FAZ and other media, competed in the finals of the German Startup Cup against the best logistics start-ups in Germany. We have also presented modility at numerous events and increased the number of our newsletter subscribers and LinkedIn followers by more than double. We continue to expand our communication measures - both online and offline by strengthening our web presence with ads and search engine optimization, planning our first on-site events, working on new content formats and much, much more.
In close cooperation with our customers, we are constantly developing new functions for the portal and improving existing ones to make booking and organizing CT transports even easier for everyone involved.
Want to see some examples? We redesigned numerous pages in the portal (e.g. timetable upload) to make them clearer, implemented functional adjustments in the e-mail notifications and messenger functions for a more efficient workflow, introduced a support button for questions and comments, worked on background stability of the website, and much more. Our product backlog is still full to bursting and we are looking forward to every single project that makes modility even better for users.
As a result of the modility go-live, lots of our tasks have changed and new ones were added. Among other things, we have introduced a new user registration process, organized demo appointments, set up permanent technical support and much more. We treat the current pilot phase like a final rehearsal to see where and how we can do even better in operation.
Expand network | The current range of options is being continuously expanded so that we can offer our customers even more attractive rail transport alternatives in the future.
Generate bookings & market-driven development | Every single booking helps us better understand the market requirements and align the platform accordingly.
Increase communication | With targeted marketing activities - both online and offline - we want to further increase our market presence and attract additional operators and demand to our platform. – wollen wir unsere Marktpräsenz steigern und weitere Operateure und Nachfrager für unsere Mission gewinnen.
Growing as an organization | We will continue to strengthen our team in the coming months and put processes to the test in order to meet the growing demand of our platform.
